Christopher Robbins
Christopher Robbins studied links between design and societal change in Japan (1994-1995), and created cross-cultural instructional materials as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin, West Africa (1995-1997). In New York and London (1998-2002), he developed web-based software and sites for corporate clients including REUTERS and the Union Bank of Switzerland, and then moved to Fiji to focus on educational technology at the Media Centre of the University of the South Pacific (2002-2005).
He explored physical interfaces to digital media, and devised cross-cultural collaborations at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in the USA (2005-2007), and then worked as a cross-cultural consultant in former Yugoslavia (2007-2009). He currently runs a cross-border strategy consultancy with his wife, Shelly Ross.
